What does the maintenance and upgrade protection on 3D Issue Gold licenses give me?

Our software is being updated continuously which is a testament to the competitive market we operate in.   we aim to release 5 updaets per annum. Therefore by purchasing 'upgrade protection' you are guaranteeing that you will receive all updates of our software for 1 full year from the time of purchase. 

You will have premium access to our support team through phone support and you can also avail of our one2one training sessions. We will set up a screen share so we can see your desktop and walk you through any issues that you are having.

Upgrade  protection is of course optional. You can still upgrade to the latest versions but you will have to pay a fee for each release.

document As with all work we create for any client under our terms of contract we retain all the rights to the works in this agreement with the client. We are then permitted to use the work to promote and market our company. It is my understanding that we would be able to do this under your single user license agreement. Am I interpreting that correctly??
