What is the recommended size for a banner?

Question

“I’ve inserted a banner in my publication, however on some browsers it isn’t stretching the entire way across. What am I doing wrong?”

 

Solution

The recommended banner size is 2000pixels wide by 60pixels high. Content should always be kept to the left. Using this resolution the banner will always cover the screen.

Note Publications built for tablet and mobile devices will not display banners, this due to the limited screen space available on these devices.

 

If you're still unsure about the issue, I'd recommend looking at the following examples.


Example 1: SMALL BANNER 

Banner used : 1024x60


Example 2: RECOMMENDED SIZE
Banner created 2500×60
